Tumbling

All tumbling classes follow the Acrobatic Arts Curriculum

Preschool Tumbling: This class is designed to be an introduction to tumbling and acrobatics. Some of the skills students will focus on in this class are: teddy bear kicks, pony kicks, tables, baby bridges (must be age 5 or older to work on bridges), cartwheels, roll variations and combinations of skills to create tumbling passes. This class will have a routine in the end of the year recital.

Beginner Tumbling: This class will focus on technique of skills and build on skills they already have learned to progress to the next level of skills. Some of the skills this class focuses on are: Handstands, roll variations, bridges, back and front  kick overs, tic tocs, cartwheels (one handed, switch cartwheels, beginning progressions for aerials), round offs and beginning progressions for back and front handsprings. This class will have a routine in the end of the year recital. 

Intermediate Tumbling: This class will focus on higher level skills and continue to work on technique of all skills. Some of the skills this class focuses on are: back and front walkovers and variations of them, back and front handsprings, aerials, cartwheels, round offs, handstands, roll variations and combination skills. Some partnering skills will be introduced as well. This class will have a routine in the end of the year recital.
